13Oct19 - *Revealing His kingdom through all of our life* - _Luke 13:18-21_ - Bible reading: _I Thessalonians 5:23-24_

_Luke 13:20-21 And again He said, "To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? (21) It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."_

Yesterday, we spoke about how God is kneading the leaven of His kingdom into us so that our entire life will reflect His kingdom. How does this process take place? It happens because of the process that Paul explains here. _II Corinthians 4:10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body._ We are therefore dying daily with Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will manifest from within us.

We see the same thought explained to us again in _Romans 6:3-4 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  (4)  Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life._ We too might walk in newness of life, the life of the kingdom as we identify with His death, burial and His resurrection.

This is God’s plan and His work of kneading the leaven of the kingdom into us. _Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, (21) make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen._ He is working in us what is well pleasing in His sight.

_Philippians 2:12-13  Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;  (13)  for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for his good pleasure._ God is working in us both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

_1Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body_ (The three measures of dough) _be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (24) He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it._ The Lord will do His work in us.

*Thought to ponder*

```Are you desiring and seeking Him to knead the leaven of His kingdom into you?```
