Colossians 2:6-7
📖 Colossians 2:6-6
(Col 2:6) As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
(Col 2:7) rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
(Col 2:8) Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
(Col 2:9) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
(Col 2:10) and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
As you received Christ Jesus - (Joh 1:12-13) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: (13) who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
(Joh 3:5) Jesus answered, \\\"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
(Eph 5:26) that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, / (1Pe 1:23) having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
Born of the Spirit of God - (Eze 36:26-27) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (27) I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. / (1Co 6:17) But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
Walk in the light of the word and the Spirit.
Rooted and built up in Christ - (Psa 1:3) He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. - bearing fruit
Established in the faith - (Col 1:23) if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
(1Co 15:3-4) For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, (4) and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
As you have been taught - Role models of faith - Heb 11
Abounding in it with thanksgiving - (Eph 5:20) giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
